(**) DCOI is not available for all games in the competition. Unavailable games: Chinese Dark Chess, Dice Shogi, EinStein Würfelt Nicht, HoneyMoon Bridge, Mahjong, Nonogram, Sylver Coinage, Kriegspiel, Backgammon, Azul, and Kingdomino.
The following games may be added quickly if there are enough participants: Backgammon, Azul, and Kingdomino.
Advanced features are not available for all usable games, but we are increasing the number of usable games with advanced features: register now to increase the chances of having advanced features available for your game during the competition.
(***) Detailed rules the following games:
* Hex and Havannah : base rule plus swap rule (pie rule)
* Gomoku : Outer-Open and Free-Style
* Lines of Action
* Chinese Chess : any repetition is a loss
* Ataxx : any repetition triggers the end of the game. The winner is then the one with the most pieces (in case of a tie, it is a draw).
* Arimaa
* Surakarta : any repetition or 50 turns without capture (25 player turns for each player) triggers the end of the game. The winner is then the one with the most pieces (in case of a tie, it is a draw).
* draughts games:
* If, during 25 moves, there were only king movements, without piece movements or jumps, the game is considered a draw.
* If there are only three kings, two kings and a piece, or a king and two pieces against a king, the game will be considered a draw after the two players have each played 16 turns.
* two kings versus one king is a draw, one king versus one king is a draw
* Shobu : any repetition is a draw
* Kingdomino (with advances rules: The middle Kingdom, Harmony, and The Mighty Duel) : official rules
* Azul: official rules

ICGA Update -- news about Computer Olympiad 2025
The Computer Olympiad will start in December this year and will be held online.
Dates:
* December 1: last day to register for the Olympiad
* December 7: registration fees must be paid
* December 8-21: competition
Games: Amazons, Arimaa, Ataxx, Brazilian Draughts, Breakthrough, Canadian Draughts, Chinese Checkers, Chinese Chess, Chinese Dark Chess, Clobber, Connect6, Dice Shogi, Dots and Boxes, EinStein Würfelt Nicht, Go (9×9), Havannah (8×8), Havannah (10×10), Hex (11×11), Hex (13×13), Hex (19×19), HoneyMoon Bridge, International Draughts, Kyoto Shogi, Lines of Action, Mahjong, Mini Shogi, Nonogram, Othello (8×8), Othello (10×10), Othello (16×16), Outer-Open Gomoku, Santorini, Shobu, Surakarta, Sylver Coinage, Kriegspiel. Quoridor, Backgammon, Azul, and Kingdomino (with advanced rules: The Middle Kingdom, Harmony, and The Mighty Duel).
The standard interfaces for competition are Ludii and DCOI (other interfaces may be used):
* Ludii : graphical interface but instable, no time management and some bugged games: see (*)
* Discord Computer Olympiad Interface: stable, time management, but no graphical interface and limited games: see (**)

Registration:
40 Euro for each program entry. A person is allowed to have an entry in multiple competitions. At least one member from each team must be a member of the ICGA.
